Patrick McGoohan as King Edward 1, Longshanks
This marvellous actor played the villain in "Braveheart"
with tremendous style. His King Edward was creepily ruthless, and
obsessed with destroying the leader of the Scots, William Wallace.
Mel Gibson has said that he has admired the acting of Patrick McGoohan ever since
his starring roles in the two great TV series "Dangerman" and "The
Prisoner". Me, too. For all those old enough to remember - here is a
picture of the younger McGoohan.
