Wallace is knighted in Edinburgh Castle
Braveheart was filmed on location in Scotland in the summer of 1994.
For seven weeks, a small, specially constructed village at Glen Nevis,
near Fort William, was the base for shooting the scenes leading up to
Murrin's death.
Mel Gibson found out too late, that the selected site was one of the
rainiest places in Europe. Not only was it wet, but cold as well, as seen
by the patches of snow on the mountains -- in June and July.
