Wallace's Sword
This is the sword that is displayed at the Wallace Monument, near
Stirling, Scotland. It is five feet long, which supports the legendary
tales of the height of William Wallace - supposedly he was over 6'6"
tall. In the 14th Century he was described as having the body of a giant,
with a pleasing but wild look. I think there is just a chance that this sword
is the genuine Wallace sword, and have been preserved for 700 years,
because he was always, and still is, regarded as Scotland's greatest
hero.
